When you spot him flying high in the distance, you’ll know that your favourite guest is on his way! Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer leads Santa’s sleigh, which this year descends beside Varaždin’s most famous landmark – the Stari Grad Castle.
Then, following the trail of holiday magic, Santa arrives at his Magical City, where the true Christmas fairy tale begins. And between you and him lies one more magical experience – a ride in the Magical Elevator.
Soar high above the clouds on an unforgettable journey from Varaždin to the North Pole, taking in breathtaking views of the baroque palaces, churches, and streets of Varaždin’s historic centre, glowing in festive splendour. When the elevator doors finally open, you’ll be welcomed by the most original Santa Claus you’ve ever seen – standing by a crackling fireplace, arms open wide and a smile on his face, ready to share with you the true magic of the holidays.

Free tickets for the listed time slots can be obtained through the Eventim system, at the Tourist Board office of the City of Varaždin (Ivana Padovca 3) from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:00, at the booth at the entrance to Santa Claus’s Magic Town from Monday to Friday from 17:00 to 20:00, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays during the opening hours of Santa Claus’s Magic Town.
Time slots can be selected up to one week in advance.
One person can collect up to 4 tickets.
Each time slot lasts 15 minutes.
The time slots at 11:30 (on days when Santa Claus is present in the Magic Town), as well as at 17:30, 18:30, and 19:30, are paid slots and offer a private ride in the Magic Elevator – the price per slot is 30 euros for a maximum of 6 people.
